Prof. Jayant Shekhar- a multidimensional technologist serves as the Principal of Subharti Institute of Technology & Engineering (SITE). He obtained his Masters in Information Technology from Manipal University, M.Tech(IT) from GGSIPU, New Delhi and Ph.D(Computer Science) from US. He has working experience of India’s topmost Traditional University,JNU,NewDelhi as well as India’s topmost Professional University, IP, New Delhi. His research contributions fall in the frontier areas of software and hardware security.

To his credit, he leads innovative research at the international levels and has contributed for the growth of science and technology in various journals and to serve the common people in the academics.A Software know as SanskritaPradipika developed by him is approved by Technology Development for Indian Languages (TDIL) Programme initiated by the Department of Information Technology (DIT) Govt. of India and CDAC (Govt. of India) and now it is available in their website(URL-http://ildc.in/Sanskrit/download/html/SktPradipika.htm) for public use as a beacon light to break language barrier.
